Tourism New Brunswick had to correct a Stats Can tweet yesterday. The agency posted about Mother Ocean Day and said the highest tides in the world are in Bay of Fundy, Nova Scotia – along with a photo of Hopewell Rocks. New Brunswick responded by saying the attraction is there, on the other side of the bay.

Bank robber sentenced
The judge gave a repeat bank robber 12 years in prison yesterday.
56 year old Michael David Graham pleaded guilty earlier to robbing six banks over six months in Saint John. He told the court during his sentencing hearing he needed the money to pay off debts or family members would be hurt. Judge Andrew Palmer rejected that saying that in trying to protect his family he was terrorizing other human beings…the bank tellers.
