The judge gave a repeat bank robber 12 years in prison yesterday.
56 year old Michael David Graham pleaded guilty earlier to robbing six banks over six months in Saint John. He told the court during his sentencing hearing he needed the money to pay off debts or family members would be hurt. Judge Andrew Palmer rejected that saying that in trying to protect his family he was terrorizing other human beings…the bank tellers.
