The Cobequid Pass might keep its tolls for out-of-province drivers. They’re set to end in 2019 once bonds are paid off, but Transportation Minister Geoff MacLellan says there’s a strong possibility non-Nova Scotians could still pay to use the highway. Several ways to make that a reality are being considered.

Dorchester Assault
An investigation is on after a Dorchester Pen inmate was assaulted Wednesday morning. The inmate went to an outside hospital for treatment, and the attacker has been identified. The prison and RCMP are investigating.
