Kings RCMP and Ground Search and Rescue teams are doing a training exercise today. Volunteers from Valley, West Hants, and Annapolis teams will participate in a mock search for a 10-year-old boy and his grandfather lost in the woods. You’re getting a heads-up so you know the increased police and GSAR presence is due to this training, not an actual search.

Missing Man
RCMP need your help finding a missing Kingston man. 47-year-old John Dwayne Anderson was last seen in January visiting family in Middleton. He’s white, 6’4″ and about 194 pounds. He was last seen wearing a ¾ length dark winter coat, a black/blue backpack and black sneakers. Nothing suggests foul play and police believe he may be in the Montreal area or BC.
