The Trudeau Government is getting ready to introduce its marijuanna legalization bill in the Commons Thursday.
The RCMP says it’ll work with the government to prevent crime networks from taking advantage of the newly legal marijuana trade. The Mounties add that it’s too soon to know what impact legalization will have on criminal involvement in the illicit marijuana market.
The cautious assessment was in notes from December recently obtained by The Canadian Press through the Access to Information Act.
