The province’s Council to Improve Classroom Conditions has been set. It has nine teachers chosen by school board superintendents, as well as a student, a parent, and a guidance counsellor appointed by the government. The council will have $20 million over two years to address classroom issues including data collection, complex classrooms,class sizes and the student attendance policy. UNB women’s hockey advertising for coach for varsity return
The University of New Brunswick women’s hockey team is advertising for a coach, to get ready for next year’s return to varsity. The team is returning to varsity status in 2018-19 after a lengthy battle over human rights. The school downgraded the team to club status in 2008 citing funding issues, but the provincial Labour and Employment Board ruled it discrimination.
