It was Baltimore over the Jays 2 to 1. The Red Sox beat the Pirates 4 to 3 in an interleague game, as the Yankees downed the Rays 3 to 2.
In the NBL, the Storm lost a close 104 to 101 game to the Niagara River Lions at The Eastlink Centre. The Miracles had a close 107 to 104 win over the Hurricanes at the Coliseum.
