Doctors Nova Scotia has released 11 recommendations to help fix the provincial healthcare system. They include doctors getting to choose their type of practice, and the Department of Health and Wellness and Health Authority working with the organization to create a blended payment model.

Chronicle Herald owners buy region’s Transcontinental newspapers
The owners of the Chronicle Herald have bought Transcontinental’s Atlantic Canadian newspapers. The new SaltWire Network publishes the Halifax paper that’s seen its newsroom workers on strike for over a year. The 28 publications include the Annapolis Valley Register and Journal-Advertiser.
