Toronto coke bust

The RCMP have arrested 5 people in an international cocaine bust at the Toronto airport, and two of them are Canadian border agents.

Officials allege the pair facilitated the importation of more than 30 kilograms of cocaine between January last year and April this year.  They also seized cocaine shipped to Toronto from Colombia and Jamaica.

Boeing and Bombardier battle

First it was softwood lumber.  Now Bombardier is in the sights of the U-S Commerce Department.

Boeing has filed a complaint with the U-S government that Bombardier has dumped its new C-Series commercial jet into the U-S at below cost prices and it wants an investigation of subsidies on the aircraft.

Bombardier denies the claim saying it structures its commercial dealings to ensure compliance with the laws and regulations of the jurisdictions in which it operates.
