Dead right whale carcasses being looked for in Gulf of St. Lawrence
Fisheries officials are meeting today to discuss the deaths of six North Atlantic right whales in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Some have been tagged with satellite trackers, which will make it easier to find the drifting carcasses. Experts say the string of deaths is unprecedented, and authorities are looking for them near the Magdalen Islands.
