At the CIS Women’s National Championship in Wolfville, Acadia won the consolation draw final 1-0 over Saskatchewan. The Bronze medal game goes at noon followed by the national title game between Laval and UBC at 2:30

Suspect Sought in Fairview Robbery

Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a store in Fairview on Thursday afternoon. Shortly before 2:30pm a man entered the Kalisimbi Shop on Titus Street, tried on a wig and then told the store clerk he was robbing her. The suspect made off on foot towards Dutch Village Road with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect is described as a white male in his 20’s with a heavy build wearing a gray sweatsuit and dark shoes with white soles.
