The Halifax Chamber of Commerce and other Business District Improvement Commissions were hosting, but Liberal Stephen McNeil and New Democrat Gary Burrill didn’t confirm participation. Progressive Conservative Jamie Baillie was set to attend.

NDP’s Burrill attends doctors rally in Sydney Mines
NDP leader Gary Burrill attended yesterday’s rally. He says his government would open a Collaborative Emergency Centre at Northside General Hospital, and in New Waterford and Glace Bay; plus earmark at least $17 million to address Cape Breton’s doctor shortage. In general, the party would expand dental coverage for kids under 18.
