Alcohol or Drugs Suspected after Pedestrian Struck near Moncton School

Police say they believe alcohol or drugs may have been a factor in a vehicle striking three people near a school in Moncton on Friday. A School board spokesperson tells the Times and Transcript that the vehicle struck a mother and her children shortly after class let out at the Edith Cavell Kindergarten-to-grade-8 School. None of the injuries are thought be serious. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
