New Conservative Leader

In less than 24 hours, the federal Conservative party will likely have a new leader.

Members gathered in Toronto Friday to hear from the 13 candidates vying for the job.

Most of the ballots have already been cast, but polls will remain open across the country until Saturday afternoon.

Quebec M-P Maxime Bernier and Saskatchewan’s Andrew Scheer are among the front-runners.

Scheer told the crowd that the key question is which candidate can articulate conservative policies to the broader public.
