The party leaders fanned out across the province yesterday with health care emerging as the top campaign issue.

A rally that drew 600 people in Cape Breton was about downsizing and the loss of doctors.  That ignited debate among the leaders.

Premier Stephen McNeil defended the Liberal government’s track record saying changes to health care under the Liberals have curbed administration costs and put more resources towards patients.
