Judge Gregory Lenehan ruled on Wednesday that the Crown hadn’t proved that an intoxicated young woman didn’t consent to sexual activity with the cabbie. He said in his ruling — quote — “A drunk can consent.” A coalition of 12 women’s agencies from across Nova Scotia is calling for Lenehan to be removed from the bench.
