The expansion of the Cantley Village playground is up in the air while ownership is figured out. The Recreation Association has the money for new equipment, but isn’t sure if CBRM or the land developer own the park. The municipality has taken care of it, but the property tax bill has been paid by the developer. They’re working it out.

Premiers meeting
Provincial and territorial premiers are meeting in Edmonton this week. The Council of the Federation brings all 13 together tomorrow and Wednesday. They’re expected to discuss the economy, Canada-US relations, legalized marijuana and more. Premiers will also talk with national indigenous leaders beforehand.
