Atlantic Canadians have identified the top 10 Worst Roads in the region. CAA’s annual campaign saw more than 7000 votes cast. Mountain Road in Christmas Island/Eskasoni was No. 1, and one of only two Nova Scotian roads to make the list. The other was Louisville Road in River John at No. 3.

CBRM launches bid for 2019 Scotties Tournament of Hearts
CBRM launched a bid to host the 2019 Scotties Tournament of Hearts this morning at Centre 200. Council passed a motion to contribute $150 thousand to bring the National women’s curling championship to Sydney. Mayor Cecil Clarke officially announced the bid at this morning’s launch.
