Jail time for an Eskasoni man

It will be at least 14 years before Albert Michael Bernard spends a night outside jail.

The 38-year-old Eskasoni man was convicted of second-degree murder in the death of Dale Dennis last November.

After a night of drinking in of 2015, Bernard viciously attacked Dennis; punching and kicking Dennis’ head and neck.

Dennis died in an ambulance on his way to hospital.

Bernard believed his girlfriend was cheating on him with Dennis.

White House officials told The Canadian Press U-S President Donald Trump is exhausted as he completes the first stop of his nine-day, five country overseas tour.

Trump has spent two days in Saudi Arabia, where he asked Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern countries to fight the “Islamic extremism” coming from the region.

Trump next travels to Israel.
