No charges will be laid in connection with the death of an elderly resident of a continuing care home in Beaver Bank.

The death of the 79 year old man, who died three days after a female resident pushed him to the floor; causing a head injury, has been ruled a homicide.

Police investigated, talked to prosecutors and decided not to lay any charges because of the cognitive impairment of the woman.
