You’ll be able to ride a CBRM bus for a dollar this summer, and a special route from Sydney to Louisbourg. The dollar rides start Canada Day and go until September 1st, and the route to Louisbourg starts June 26th and runs until September 4th. That ride is free to anyone with a 2017 Parks Canada Discovery Pass.

Respect for those with disabilities, freedom of speech among core Atlantic values: CRA
Corporate Research Associates has released a new survey on core Canadian values for Atlantic residents. A majority agrees that each of nine values in the study are core. Respect for those with disabilities and freedom of speech had the highest percentage of those in complete agreement, at 69% and 63% respectively. Bilingualism got the lowest support of that kind at 31%. Freedom of religion, gender equality, respect for cultural differences, democracy, freedom of assembly or association, and support for the economically disadvantaged were also covered.
