New Democrats took aim at the Trudeau government in the second debate of leadership hopefuls.

They suggested the government’s plan to legalize marijuanna is up in smoke.  The government, however; told the CBC the legalization bill is coming within a couple of weeks.

They also talked about tuition fees and skyrocketing student debt.

The NDP chooses its new leader in October.

Some startling findings in a new gun study.

Researchers at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children say almost everyday in Ontario, a child is injured or killed by a gun.  They looked at the health records of millions of children and determined about three quarters of the injuries were accidental.  They are hoping this research will lead to greater efforts to reduce firearm deaths among young people.
