NB pot plans

The New Brunswick government is getting ready as the Trudeau liberals will soon announce legislation to legalize marijuana could come into affect as early as July of 2018.

It will be up to New Brunswick to set a minimum age to buy pot, where it will be sold; and for how much.

A course about medical marijuana production will also be added to the curriculum at the province’s community college in 2017.

Via Rail issues

Via Rail has temporarily suspended sales of its Canada 150 Youth Pass as it works on some technical issues with its online booking engine.

The high demand for the pass, which went on sale Tuesday; is causing technical difficulties.

The 150-dollar pass offers travellers between the ages of 12 and 25 unlimited travel across Canada in July, or students 26 and older with a valid student I-D.
