The Blue Jackets beat Pittsburgh 5 to 4, the Pens lead the series 3 games to 1.
The Raptors got past Milwaukee 106 to 100 to tie that series at a game each.
Boston beat the Jays 8 to 7.
Forest fire season is underway in New Brunswick. Anyone igniting a Category 1 fire should ensure burning is allowed in that area. This can be done by calling the toll-free burn line or visiting the Department of Energy and Resource Development website. Category 2, 3 and 4 fires need a written permit, with applications available at the department’s district offices. Forest fire season is on until October 31st unless otherwise indicated.
