An east coast man took on Dell, and won!
A Halifax man, who has been a thorn in the side of airlines; has taken on a computer giant and won.
Gabor Lukacs bought a Dell laptop in 2016. An ad said it had 13.5 hours of battery life. He found it only lasted three to five hours.
He complained. Dell offered a full refund of several hundred dollars but insisted on a confidentiality clause. A small claims court adjudicator ordered Dell to pay $1,900 and ruled a confidentiality clause can’t be added after a deal is made.
