NAFTA update
There’s an APEC MInisters summitt in Vietnam this week and Canada’s International Trade Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne and U-SA Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer are expected to meet to discuss reopening NAFTA negotiations.
Champagne says Canada is prepared for whenever the negotiations begin and the Trudeau government will be firm in its stance to protect Canadian interests and workers.
