A Nova Scotia man has died following a single vehicle crash in Grand Manan, New Brunswick. RCMP believe the driver lost control of his vehicle near the end of Shore Road in Grand Manan and struck a seawall before overturning and landing in the water. A 68-year-old man from Barrington Passage, Nova Scotia was taken to hospital but later from of his injuries. Police say they believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.

Power Restored after Friday Storm
Power has been restored to just about all customers affected by Friday’s storm. Roughly 8,500 homes and businesses lost power in the powerful wind and rain storm. That number was reduced to roughly 1,300 in the Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe area by Saturday afternoon. As of this morning all but one customer has had power restored.
