Freedom of religion, gender equality, respect for cultural differences, democracy, freedom of assembly or association, and support for the economically disadvantaged were also covered.

NB real GDP to grow 1.1% in 2017: RBC

RBC is now projecting New Brunswick’s real GDP to grow 1.1% in 2017.  That exceeds the forecast in the 2017-2018 budget.   The bank noted last year’s economic growth was stronger than expected due to strong wage growth in consumer service industries, and an upswing in construction. Capital spending and a strong performance from the natural resources sector were also factors.
