An Education Act amendment introduced by the Green Party has passed into law.  Leader David Coon’s bill ensures all New Brunswick students will learn about the legacy of residential schools, treaties, shared histories and realities of indigenous people to promote intercultural understanding.

New Brunswick will host next year’s Conference of education ministers of La Francophonie.  The biennial event involves 44 states and government members, and will focus on early childhood development and preschool education.  The exact date and location will be determined in the next few months.
