Provincial and territorial premiers are meeting in Edmonton this week. The Council of the Federation brings all 13 together tomorrow and Wednesday. They’re expected to discuss the economy, Canada-US relations, legalized marijuana and more. Premiers will also talk with national indigenous leaders beforehand.

Sydney Mines woman hit and run charges
A Sydney Mines woman has been charged in Friday’s death of a woman hit by a vehicle. The 28-year-old was hit on Oxford Avenue, and died in hospital. The vehicle fled the scene, and 36-year-old Kimberly Ann O’Dea is up on second-degree murder and criminal negligence causing death. Police say she knew the victim, and is due in court today.
