The province has introduced changes to the Human Rights Act. Among other things they’ll modernize the definition of mental disability, correct inconsistencies between the English and French versions of the act; and add two new prohibited grounds of discrimination and exceptions, “family status” and “gender identity or expression”.

Reckless driving, mischief sentence
A Moncton man has been sentenced for reckless driving and mischief in Springhill. 31-year-old Stephen Kelly Bauer got a conditional discharge with a year’s probation, plus a $237 fine. The incidents happened January 5th.
