More active 2016 season expected: CDN Hurricane Centre
The Canadian Hurricane Centre predicts a more active season this year. The Halifax outlet says that’s because El Niño, which tempers storms, might take longer to get going in the Pacific off South America. America’s National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is calling for another above-average season there.
