Costco has recalled a veggie burger sold across the maritimes. Select Dr. Praeger’s Organic Kale and Quinoa Veggie Burgers with codes indicating they were made in August have been recalled. The recall is due to a possible egg contamination. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says there has been one confirmed case of illness associated with consuming the veggie burgers.

Woman Charged with Impaired Driving in Fatal Moncton Crash
A 34-year-old Moncton woman has been charged with impaired driving causing death following an early morning accident on Friday that killed a 66-year-old man. Melissa Amanda Lane was driving a pick-up truck that collided with a car near McLaughlin Drive and Morton Avenue in Moncton around 3am. The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. A male passenger in the truck was taken to hospital with minor injuries. Lane remains in custody and will appear in court on Monday.
