On Thursday, April 6th at the Max Aitken Academy; an event called “100 Years of Loss,” will be taking place.
It is to recognize and understand the history of Indian Residential Schools and their impact on indigenous peoples, to celebrate cultural resiliency and pride; and to honour survivors and those who did not make it home.
It starts at 6:30 in the evening on April 6th.
