Hundreds of people are dead and hundreds more missing after massive flooding in southern Columbia.
Heavy raise caused three rivers to overflow and roar through Mocoa, a city of 40,000. The death toll has climbed over 210, however; rescuers fear hundres more are missing or seriously injured. Hundreds more are homeless.

In the NBA, the Raptors beat the 76’ers 113 to 105.
Baseball season opened with Tampa Bay beating the Yankees 7-3. The Blue Jays open their season in Baltimore this afternoon, and the Red Sox take on the Pirates.
