Trump puts the “slap down” on a Syrian military base

President Donald Trump ordered cruise missile attacks on a Syrian military base last night in retaliation for the chemical attack earlier this week that left at least 80 civilians including children dead.

American officials believe Syrian military aircraft dropped the weapons containing chlorine mixed with a nerve agent, possibly sarin.

The U-S fired about 60 cruise missiles last night at an airbase in central Syria.  Trump issued a brief statement calling on all civilized nations to join the U-S in seeking an end to the carnage in Syria.

Quebec murder charges

A 51 year old Quebec man has been charged with three counts of first degree murder in the deaths of women northeast of Montreal.

At least two of them were related to Sylvain Duquette.  He’s also chaged with attempted murder and confinement charges against his 80 year old father.  One of the dead women was his father’s wife and another his sister-in-law.
