Lobster fishermen in the Chaleur region say the season is off to a slow start because of strong winds and cold water.
Lobster tend to move less when the water is cold, making them not as likely to crawl into fishing traps.
The lobster fishing season for Area 23, closes July 1st.

But far fewer feel that Point Lepreau operates efficiently.
Lepreau was brought offline three times over the last year for required maintenance.
