Four people were killed and two were injured when a small plane crashed into two homes in southern California.

Officials say the Cessna’s occupants, a husband; wife and three teens, were returning from a weekend cheerleading contest when the plane went down in Riverside.  One of the girls survived with only minor injuries when she was thrown from the aircraft on impact.

SpaceX wants to fly people to the moon as early as next year.

SpaceX founder Elon Musk’s committment came about a week after launching his first rocket from NASA’s moon pad at Cape Canaveral.  Musk didn’t say who wants to ride his rocket, but said tha pair put down a significant deposit and are very serious about it.
