The province has announced broader treatment for hepatitis C patients. Treatment will now be available to those with less advanced disease if they’ve been diagnosed with other health conditions. Public reimbursement of new curative therapies will also be provided, including the first, once-daily single tablet regimen for patients with genotypes 1-6. 98% of those affected achieved a cure in clinical studies.

Baillie introduced PC Party’s Rebuild Nova Scotia Fund
PC leader Jamie Baillie has unveiled the Rebuild Nova Scotia Fund. It would invest $2 billion – split provincially and federally – on roads, bridges and other public infrastructure while maintaining the province’s debt-to-GDP ratio at its current level. The budget would also stay balanced.
