The Atlantic Provinces Economic Council says it has to be easier for New Brunswickers to work beyond typical retirement age. Its latest report says the amount of Atlantic Canadian seniors per working-age resident will more than double in the next couple of decades, but the provincial and federal levels have policies and programs that are geared towards earlier retirement.

2014 Edmunston arsons still unsolved
Help is still sought with two 2014 arsons in Edmunston. The Centre for Alcoholics Anonymous was destroyed that September 6th, and the St. John the Baptist/St.Paul’s United Church suffered that fate two weeks later. Contact police or Crime Stoppers with any information.
