One man is in custody after bystanders chased down a mugger in Fredericton on Saturday morning. Police say a man stole money from a woman in the King Street area if the provincial capital shortly before 1am. The man attempted to flee the scene but bystanders who witnessed the incident were able to chase down the suspect and detain the man until police arrived. The suspect has been charged with robbery and remains in police custody.
