A Campbellton man will do three years in jail for slashing a woman’s face. 59-year-old Bertrand Veilleux admitted to aggravated assault and possession of a dangerous weapon in exchange for other withdrawn charges. The incident happened early last May 21st.

Armed robbery by a 12 year old in NB!
A 12 year old Moncton boy has admitted to robbing a convenience store at knifepoint.
The boy’s mother is the one who turned him in to police after finding 65 dollars in his pocket.
Court was also told the boy paid someone 20 bucks to be his getaway driver after he held up the Second Avenue convenience store with a knife while wearing a mask on February 15th.
The pre-teen was sent for a psychiatric assessment and found fit to stand trial and criminally responsible.
There’ll be a sentencing hearing May 10th.
