Russia and western countries clashed at the United Nations yesterday when Vladimir Putin blocked a security council resolution condemning Syria for the chemical attack.
10 countries voted in favour, Russia with its veto and Bolivia voted against, China and 2 other abstained. Russia’s ambassador says the resolution pre-judged that the Syrian government was responsible.
