Laptop ban may expand

U-S Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly says he’s considering banning laptops from all international flights into and out of the country.

The current ban focuses on flights from 10, mostly Middle Eastern locations, and was put in place because of concerns about Islamic terrorism.

Airbnb Quebec

Just over a year after Quebec passed a law requiring permits for people who list on home rental websites like Airbnb, new data suggests the majority aren’t registering.  Its Tourism Department says it’s issued 967 permits for rental hosts out of 2244 applications since last April.  Airbnb alone had 19,400 Quebec hosts in 2016.  The law is the only one of its kind in Canada.
