A Campbellton man has been sentenced for dangerous driving. 49-year-old Denis Clifford Dugas pleaded guilty to that one charge and had five others withdrawn. His vehicle crossed the centre line twice on the J.C. Van Horne Bridge on March 30th, 2015. A resulting accident saw a mother and daughter hurt, and Dugas got a $2600 fine and three-year driving ban.

The Campbellton-Miramichi area has the second lowest average wages in the country, at $21.30.
Moncton-Richibucto is the sixth worst, at $21.75.
