Millions for St. Andrews Biological Station

The Saint Andrews Biological Station is looking for researchers after getting millions from Ottawa for different projects, according to the Telegraph-Journal.

Fisheries Minister Dominic Leblanc has announced $9 million from Ottawa for the upgrades. 15 new permanent positions will be added with upgrades at the country’s oldest marine research facility. There are currently over 100 staff there.

A nod for an Amherst brewery

A Trider’s Craft Beer product knowns as Brew-deau Canadian Cream Ale has been named the winner of the Propeller Brewing Company’s #BrewPatriotLove contest for the company’s 20th anniversary.

The beer has an images of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on its label.

The beer is available at various NSLC outlets.
