It’s election eve. The Liberals start their day with a rally in Port Hood before ending it this afternoon in Fall River. The Tories have a healthcare rally this morning in Dartmouth and another in Truro tonight, along with campaigning; and the NDP is starting with a morning rally in Sydney before heading to HRM for the day.

New Tory leader
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and new Conservative leader Andrew Scheer will meet in person in the coming weeks. The two spoke on the phone yesterday after Sheer’s win of the party leadership. A statement from the Prime Minister’s Office says they discussed making Parliament work for Canadians, and the important relationship with America.
