A week of public hearings on the legalization of marijuana in New Brunswick has wrapped up without a clear picture of the how the province will deal with the issue. The legislative committee appears split on how pot should be sold – be it through private businesses or crown operated liquor stores. The committee also appears unable to reach a consensus on a minimum wage of either 19 or 21. The committee will present a summary report of its public consultations to the government by the end of August.
