Well over a hundred cyclists held a ride in honour of Ellen Waters in Sussex on Saturday. The Ellen’s ‘Tour de Sussex’ event was also aimed at promoting road safety for cyclists. Waters was a competitive cyclist who was struck and killed near Sussex last year. Her death inspired the passage of Ellen’s Law, legislating vehicles give cyclist at least a meter of space on the province’s roads.
