McNeil Liberals under fire for rehiring PR man convicted of domestic assault

The Liberals are under fire for rehiring a man who pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman three years ago.  Kyley Harris was fired as Premier Stephen McNeil’s spokesman for waiting four days to reveal he was facing the charge.  He’s now listed as director of communications for the party’s central election campaign.  Both provincial Tory leader Jamie Baillie and federal interim leader Rona Ambrose say it sends “a terrible message” to domestic-assault victims.
